Privacy & GDPR

Last updated: September 2026

This page explains how Valqeron collects and handles personal data through this website, and how the Valqeron platform is designed to handle personal data on behalf of its clients. It is a general overview, not legal advice, and it does not replace the Data Processing Agreement (DPA) included with every Valqeron package. Where this page and a client's signed DPA differ, the DPA applies.

Jurisdiction note. Privacy and data-protection law is set at a national and regional level and differs by country and continent. Valqeron is based in the Netherlands and this policy is written primarily with EU/EEA data-protection law (GDPR) in mind. If you are located outside the EU/EEA, different or additional rights and obligations may apply under your local law, and this policy should be read alongside — not instead of — that law. Clients remain responsible for confirming their own compliance obligations with qualified legal counsel in their own jurisdiction.

1. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to visitors of valqeron.com (this website) and, at a general level, to how the Valqeron platform is designed to process personal data for client organizations. If you are an employee, customer or contact of a Valqeron client whose data is processed through the Valqeron platform, the client organization is the data controller for that data — please direct data-subject requests to them in the first instance. Valqeron acts as a data processor for platform data under the DPA in place with that client.

2. Who we are

Valqeron is based in the Netherlands. For any privacy-related question, contact info@valqeron.com.

3. Data collected through this website

This website is a static site with no user accounts, server-side database or tracking/analytics cookies. The only personal data it collects is what you choose to submit through the contact form: name, e-mail address, company name, and your message.

  • Submitting the form opens a pre-filled e-mail in your own e-mail client, addressed to info@valqeron.com — the data is sent as a normal e-mail, not stored in a database on this website.
  • That e-mail is then handled like any other business correspondence and kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond to your enquiry and maintain a business record.
  • This website does not use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies. Fonts and, where supported by your browser, the interactive visual on the Valqeron Core section are loaded from third-party content delivery networks (Google Fonts, jsDelivr), which may process your IP address as part of ordinary web delivery.

4. How the Valqeron platform is designed to handle client data

The Valqeron platform is separate from this website and is used under a signed agreement with each client. It is designed so that personally identifiable and sensitive data is detected and anonymized before it is sent to an underlying AI model; results are re-linked to real records only within Valqeron's own secure environment, and are not shared with third-party AI providers in identifiable form. Every action is logged with hash-chained activity logging for auditability. Enterprise packages add AI-based detection tuned to the names, language and context of each client's market. See Trust & privacy on the main site for more detail on this design.

Because Valqeron processes this data as a service provider to its clients, the specific legal basis, retention periods and data-subject procedures for platform data are set out in each client's DPA rather than in this general policy.

5. Data Processing Agreement (DPA)

A Data Processing Agreement with clear liability allocation is included, as standard, in every Valqeron package. It sets out the categories of data processed, the purpose and duration of processing, sub-processors used, and each party's obligations under applicable data-protection law. Clients can request a copy via info@valqeron.com.

6. Your rights

If GDPR applies to your data, you generally have the right to request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data, to restrict or object to certain processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with your national data-protection authority. Where a different data-protection law applies to you, it may grant equivalent or different rights. To exercise any of these rights regarding data submitted through this website, contact info@valqeron.com. If your data is processed through the Valqeron platform on behalf of a client organization, please contact that organization directly, as they control that data.

7. Security

Valqeron's platform is designed around anonymization before data reaches an AI model, hash-chained audit logging, and access controls appropriate to a governed multi-tenant environment. Governance and oversight are structured around the expectations of applicable frameworks such as the EU AI Act, ISO 27001 and ISO 42001 — the specific requirements that apply, and the current implementation timeline for each, vary by region and by the nature of the AI system in question, and clients should confirm what applies to their own deployment.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the platform or in applicable law. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated. Material changes will be reflected here.

9. Contact

Questions about this policy or about your data can be sent to info@valqeron.com.
